Tom Six, Director of the first ever ass-to-mouth-to-ass-to-mouth non-porno, The Human Centipede, has just released a teaser trailer for his sequel, The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence).  Apparently, sewing victim’s mouths to other’s rear-ends wasn’t shocking enough for neither Mr. Six or his audience.  Feeling that his first film was received by critics as being too much like ‘My Little Pony’, the director promises to amp up the level of shock-value for his sequel.  Not quite sure if I would call it ‘My Little Pony’.  As far as shock value is concerned, sure it was shocking, but the dark humor placed over the absurdity of it all, intentional or not, is what ultimately stood out the most while the rest of the film was just okay.

Due to my love for trapped-in-a-situation horror themed films, I for one am hoping that Six puts as much effort into turning up the offensive level as he does his storyline.  I think most horror fans will agree, while the first film was fun, it lacked most of the usual elements that would otherwise make an extreme concept film entertaining.  Personally, I’m expecting something along the lines of Hostel 2, with more gore and even less plot than the first one, if that is even possible.  But who knows, I could be surprised.  Perhaps we might be in for something that is as smart as it is disturbing, like this year’s fantastic A Serbian Film, I doubt it though.
