I am all too aware that trailers for movies are, more often than not, deceptive and lead to disappointment.  Knowing this, I went into Gabriele Albanesi‘s Ubaldo Terzani Horror Show fully prepared to once again be let down from what the preview suggested I’d be seeing.

The preview, which you can see for yourself after the jump, had me believing that the name Albanesi would soon ring synonymous with Bava (A Blade in The Dark, Twitch of the Death Nerve, Blood and Black Lace), Argento (Opera, Blood Red, Tenebre), and Fulci (The New York Ripper, A Lizard in a Woman’s Skin, Don’t Torture a Duckling). In their prime the three were largely considered to be the greatest Italian directors of the Horror subgenre known as Giallo.  Could Ubaldo Terzani Horror Show be the film to revitalize this relic of a genre?
