This Month’s Poll Question: Which of Steven Spielberg’s Last 10 Films Is Your Favorite?

What better time to have a Steven Spielberg poll than when the man has two films playing in theaters at the same time; The Adventures of Tin Tin, and War Horse.  Rather than try to decide from his impressive cinematic oeuvre 10 of his best films, I thought I would try to keep it more simple and only focus on his last 10 films.  Which of Steven Spielberg’s last 10 films is your favorite?  Cast your vote after the jump, or on the sidebar. December’s Poll Results: Who Played Your Favorite James Bond?

Nobody loves George Lazenby.

Poor George Lazenby couldn’t even get a single vote. I knew he wasn’t going to win but I figured somewhere out there there’s someone for everyone. I was wrong. There is no one for George Lazanby.

Sean Connery, on the other hand, is loved capturing almost half of the votes while Brosnan came in second with 22 percent. Our current Bond, Daniel Craig, pulled in 14 percent. To see the full results follow the jump.  Read More…

December Poll: Who played the best James Bond?

The agent with many faces, James Bond, has been a movie fixture since 1962.  Over that time the movies have gone from spy thrillers to goofy action comedies to special effect extravaganzas but what the fans disagree on more than anything is who played the best bond.

I grew up watching Brosnan drive invisible cars through ice hotels while trying to avoid lasers from satellites determined on melting earth and although the movies were absolutely ludicrous he has always been James Bond to me.  I don’t think that will ever change.  Remember the poll isn’t asking for the best films, just the best embodiment of bond.

November Poll Results: Tenenbaums is Wes Anderson’s Best

Considering that The Royal Tenenbaums is the highest grossing of Wes Anderson‘s films I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that our viewers voted it most popular. I was disappointed that my personal favorite, The Life Aquatic, came in second to last, finishing only behind his lesser known debut Bottle Rocket.

September Poll Results: Rocky vs The Ram

Last month we threw 10 hard-ass male action heroes into a steel cage and asked you to decide who would remain standing.  I guess Mickey Rourke‘s Randy “The Ram” Robinson from The Wrestler had enough ring experience to out-tough all but one of the competitors, Sylvester Stallone‘s John Rambo.  Having both collected 20% of the votes, the two were forced to shake each other’s bloody palms and call it a draw.  Only Bruce Willis‘ John McClane came even close to proving his manly worth receiving 16% of the vote.  To see where the others fell in this fantasy brawl of balls click the jump Read More…
