The film night in the park outdoor film series continues on Saturday, August 25th at Union Square Park, with the screening of W.S. Van Dyke’s 1936 comedic crime caper, After The Thin Man. Now, don’t let the fact that the film is a direct sequel to the 1934 film, The Thin Man, deter you from attending this free screening. Unlike most of today’s sequels, the events transpired before hand are of little significance when it comes to the overall enjoyability and whimsical fun to be had in it’s sequel.
As usual the movie starts as dusk, which is usually around the 8:00 hour, but I recommend you come early in order to reserve yourself a solid piece of real estate ample enough to accommodate your blanket and cooler.
