Haven’t seen The Artist yet? Want to see what all of last year’s hype was about? Heck, maybe you’ve already seen it and just want to see it again. Well, on Saturday, July 14th head on over to Union Square and enjoy a free screening of this 5-time Oscar winner.
My personal opinion of director Michel Hazanavicius‘ homage to the silent era of filmmaking differs vastly from the popular consensus in that I was somewhat underwhelmed and disinterested for a number of reasons, which I won’t go into right now. But hey, I’ll give anything a second try, especially when it’s for free.
The movie starts at sundown, so adjust your sundial accordingly. Check out the trailer after the jump
