Director, Morgan Spurlock is currently making the rounds in promotion for his upcoming documentary, Comic-Con Episode Four: A Fan’s Hope. My introduction to Spurlock came when I saw his humorous 2004 documentary Super Size Me, in where he went on a strictly McDonalds diet for a month. Since then, I have yet to be impressed by any of his directed films (Where In The World is Osama Bin Laden, The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, etc.,) yet his produced projects such as What Would Jesus Buy, and The Other F Word I’ve found to be quite entertaining. Needless to say, his newest film, Comic-Con Episode Four: A Fan’s Hope is a behind-the-scenes look at the people who attend the known fanboy nerdfest that is San Diego’s Comic Con. While I’m not that big of a comic geek, with the exception being all things Hulk, I do enjoy taking a peek at what makes these nerds tick. You too can get your peek into this world on Sunday, April 8th at San Francisco’s Balboa Theatre where Morgan Spurlock himself will be in attendance to answer your geeky questions, to which I have a few, myself.
