In Select Theaters for 2 Days Only – Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview

In 1996 Bob Cringely conducted an hour-long interview with Steve Jobs for the 1996 PBS documentary, The Triumph of the Nerds: The Rise of the Accidental Empires.  It turns out that only part of the interview was used for the documentary before the entire copy of the interview was deemed lost – until now.  As luck would have it, and in the wake of the recent passing of the turtlenecked-techie, in turns out that the film’s director, whose name, oddly enough, could not be found anywhere on the internet, has located a VHS copy of the interview in his/her garage.  From what I can gather from the film’s official website Jobs is said to be “at his charismatic best – witty, outspoken, visionary”.  The interview was conducted during the time when Jobs left Apple to work on his computer company, NeXT.

The film will be in San Francisco for 2 days only: Wednesday, November 16th and Thursday, November 17th
